Video - Mark Anielski: Marketing urban agriculture

Mark Anielski makes the case that marketing Urban Agriculture means looking at land options closer to the city. The increasing demand for high quality local food, in restaurants, in farmers markets, means that cities have to get active in making agricultural land within their boundaries available for food production.

Mark Anielski was interviewed by the Alberta Land-use Knowledge Network as part of their online course and discussion of Urban Agriculture and Local Food in the autumn of 2013. The course, Growing Insights can be viewed at http://growinginsights.ca/
